Vintage finish must mean scuffed and scratched

The description that says "vintage" finish must mean scratched and scuffed, because that is how mine arrived. The pictures don't show how rough the finish looks. Otherwise it is a nice looking watch at a decent size, not clown size nor too small. I could not get over how bad the finish appeared and thankfully MyBeauty.Boutique has a good return policy, so I sent it back. The finish just looked so rough that it made the watch look worn out right out of the box, hence the term vintage (doh!).

Timex got it right, good watch by any standard, especially at price point

This is a very satisfying watch. It's a bit large on my skinny wrists, and a bit thick, but that lends is a nice weight. The band is nice, too - soft but not flimsy. I enjoy busy dials, and this design remains legible enough not to strain my eyes. The flyback and its operational logic is easy to learn (I love chronographs of all kinds). Took me exactly one use of indiglo to become a fan. Who'da thought you could get this much at this price point? Unlike the gunmetal grey in the photo I liked, this model is black - matte finish on top, glossy on the sides. I might take a fine wire brush to that gloss. Don't like gloss. Why's everything gloss these days? You kids and your fancy phones, meh...

Impressive Watch

I had lost some confidence in Timex over the years due to cheap materials. I have to sing to the heavens that the band on this watch is the most comfortable band I have ever worn. I own and love to death my expensive Seiko solar blah blah blah watch. This Timex is twice as comfortable out of the box and less than half the price! The indigo is appropriately bright and the hands have short term glow in the dark capabilities. The chronograph takes getting used to but zeroes correctly and appears to keep accurate time. Not that it is important but it seems that the watch actually has white markings with an amber tinted crystal instead of a clear crystal with amber markings.
