Design house Oscar de la Renta gets its fragrance license back and announce a new fragrance named Esprit d'Oscar. Esprit d'Oscar is the restructured and modern reinterpretation version of the debut fragrance Oscar from 1977. Retaining the original oriental - flowery charm, the new arrangement begins with citrus notes of Sicilian lemon, bergamot and citron, leading to the floral bouquet heart of Egyptian jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose. The base is oriental, creamy, smooth and very extensive lasting with musk, heliotrope, tonka and vetiver. Perfumers Frank Voelkl and Ann Gottlieb collaborated to create this marvellous scent. The perfume bottle design repeats of the original with more lengthened shape and the glass stopper that resembles a floret. Oscar De La Renta Espirit D?Oscar is a perfume that has been suggested to be worn during the day. Oscar de la Renta is a custom designer born in the Dominican Republic in 1932. Showing an early aptitude for art, Oscar left for Spain, to study painting at Madrid's Academy of San Fernando. Captivated by Spanish culture and with a growing interest in fashion design, Oscar began drawing for fashion houses and landed a position with leading couturier, Cristobal Balenciaga. In 1960, he moved to Paris and functioned as a couture assistant at Lanvin. Oscar de la Renta has 30 perfumes in our their fragrance selection. The initial edition was created in 1977 and the most modern fragrance is from 2011.
