Superb steriliser! This is my 3rd baby, and this steriliser is one of the best items I’ve ever bought. I wanted a steam steriliser so that I could store it in the microwave and save using up what little counter top space I have, and also something for cool water sterilising, as my 2nd baby developed oral thrush and it was because the holes of the bottle teats weren’t getting cleaned through washing and steam sterilising, cold water was the only way to fix this. This item not only does both, but we also use the bottom to wash the bottles in as well. I had a microwave steriliser before, but the bottom was shallow. The top of this is the shallowest part, making all three jobs a breeze. The cap on the lid goes on for steam sterilising, and off for the grey holder to keep items submerged for cold water sterilising (as in the picture) For cold water sterilising I fill the water ti the max line (approx 8 pints) and put two Tesco tablets in. We do this once a week to give everything (esp the teats) a good blast to ensure they’re def clean. For steam, 7oz water which we measure with a bottle is used. Terrific system, really love this product. Bottles used are Lansinoh. We can comfortably fit four bottles in for both steam and cold water sterilising.
