I got this Jimmy Choo perfume, as my wife loves

I got this Jimmy Choo perfume, as my wife loves rose-based scented perfumes, and her go-to perfumes are Narcisso Rodriguez for her, Jo Malone Red Roses, and Prada Paradoxe. Interestingly this Jimmy Choo Rose Passion Eau de Parfum, whilst having the word "rose" in it, has very little scent of roses (if at all) on my wife's skin. I definitely can smell a flora top note (and it reminds me of Vera Wang) but the fragrance is more lily I think, and there is a subtle spiciness base note of vanilla. The Jimmy Choo isn't overpowering, but definitely noticeable, and lasts for several hours, even on warm summer days. On a purely aesthetic basis, the bottle is elegant and stylish. My wife and I both agree that this is a really exquisite perfume, and one that we both can recommend.

I've always loved perfume - I have specific daywear and nightwear scents, so I was quite upset when my usual got discontinued. I've not had Jimmy Choo fragrances before but this one is beautiful - I like floral scents and this one has slight undertones of musk after wearing for a while. Initially it's really fresh and flowery. Wear is quite long-lasting, would last an evening out although for daywear I did have to reapply after a few hours. Bottle design is very pretty - I like the colour and sort of potion-style shape. The lid is quite tight to remove.

This scent is alluring and seductive whilst being fun and modern. It has a sweet tropical aroma, with a subtle bouquet of lily's, orchids, jasmine along with a powdery vanilla. It's very feminine. It's playful and fun. I don't understand why it has rose in the name, there's nothing rose about it and that would have put me off. It is suitably named passion as it is sultry and arousing, my husband loves it on me. The scent isn't powerful but does have excellent longevity; an all day fragrance.

Box comes fully sealed which is great. The packaging and the design of the bottle is beautiful and in line with other Jimmy Choo fragrances. Ordinarily I'm not a massive floral fan however this one is lovely. It lasts well (around 4-5 hours). The price is exactly what you'd expect to pay especially for a new release. Overall I really like it and would recommend.

I like this fragrance. I sometimes think of rose as old-fashioned and too heavy. But I think this fragrance is a lot lighter - it's rich but still has a lot of lighter notes in it. Of course, whether you like a fragrance or not is very, very personal though. As you can see from my photo, the fragrance arrived in its box, which was sealed properly in its protective wrapper. So, this would have been in perfect condition and suitable for gifting, for example.
