This has the texture of Vaseline, so it's best used

This has the texture of Vaseline, so it's best used on specific problem areas rather than smeared all over the face. (It's so thick you'd have to use the whole pot to cover your face!) Fortunately, this doesn't have Eight Hour's signature camphor fragrance. Instead, it's a very mild lavender scent which is barely noticeable and doesn't leave you drowning in pungent odour. As a skin treatment for small problem patches, this balm is wonderful. It's been heaven sent for my apres-cold cracky nose, my lipline psoriasis patch and my painfully dry browbone area. After one night's use these troublespots looked visibly better and felt much relieved. It's the same result I'd usually get from the standard Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant 50ml (Packaging varies) but the balm is much nicer to use on the face - less sticky, easy to apply to target areas, and without the camphor assault.

I have used this for the last two years. It is more of a Vaseline type cream than an actual cream. You are meant to apply some to your finger tips and rub vigorously, this then warms it up and loosens it. You them apply this to your face/neck etc. It is a fantastic cream. The small tub lasts for ages. I also use it on sore lips, any dry patches on my body. After applying it with my fingertips, I have noticed that they are virtually wrinkle free too!
