  • Infusion D’Iris by design house Prada was launched in 2007; the nose behind this fragrance is perfumer Daniela Roche-Andrier of Givaudan. The name of this fragrance was inspired by the old method of producing iris extract which took six months of soaking until the sweetly fresh iris notes were extracted. Infusion D’Iris is classified as an oriental-woody fragrance for women. Infusion D'Iris is clean, fresh and light and at the same time sophisticated and elegant. It is an intimate and personal scent that envelops you. Infusion D’Iris notes consist of top notes mandarin, galbanum, orange and orange blossom which lead to the heart composed of iris, cedar and vetiver. The base is composed of incense and benzoin.

Great but Not lasting smell

I've been using this perfume for over 7years. This is my favorite smell. I love trace of it on my hair, and close. I also love strong and long lasting presence of this scent. However, when purchased from this seller, I noticed that smell is not staying too long. Not even an hour. Make me wonder if this a legit distribution from Prada manufacture, or possibly just a very successful knockoff cuz the smell is GOOD and the same as purchased from legit distributors ( like Sephora or duty-free shops).
