Still my favorite sharpener after all these years!

Every time I try a different sharpener or one comes with another product purchase-I seek out my tried and true Anastasia sharpener. It is that good. I am a former professional makeup expert-and I still can't figure out why so many similar looking sharpeners dull quickly or destroy the points of my makeup pencils. There are two holes for different sized pencils, and the larger hold has a removable ring inside, giving THREE actual sharpener sizes to the user. My mother, who never pays attention to makeup details, even noticed the Anastasia sharpener I gave her was missing and got riled up over it. Phone call: I need you to get me another one of those good sharpeners because I lost mine and nothing works right! I know people get really negligent about cleaning these things-but believe me, its worth noting that if you clean it once or twice a week (I behead a q-tip and clean out the residue with that-but sharpener has a little hidden stick that slides out to use as a cleaning tool as well) Occasionally clean blade area with rubbing alcohol but dry it quickly with a clean q-tip) If you do this-your sharpener will last for years. I only replace them about every 5 years for self use.

Fits the Jumbo Anastasia pencil

Works great but there is a secret. When you receive the sharpener you will here something shaking around inside. Open the top. It Is a small tool. Pry the outside rim off the larger of the 2 sharpener holes and "voila " the jumbo pencil fits in perfectly. I was stumped by this for a few minutes.
