    This has calmed my rosacea so much

    This StriVectin Super-B Barrier Strengthening Oil with Vitamin B3 & Prebiotics has helped to calm the redness on my cheeks (rosacea) more than anything else I have tried. It is a soothing oil, but don't think that it will make your skin oily. It sinks into the skin and creates a barrier that protects the skin from dryness. I had flakiness around my nostrils, and this oil helped to heal this as well. It works with my foundation too. My skin has responded beautifully to this formulation.

    Not for everyone

    Not for sensitive skin. It irritated my skin and caused a rash as well as small bumps on my face. The serum is sticky and doesn't dry quickly. Though the bottle is nice and has a dropper it is definitely not worth the price. Wouldn't recommend for people just starting out in skincare

    Might not be great for you if you are prone to breakouts.

    I have tried a few facial oils recently that have coconut oil pretty high up in the ingredient hierarchy which always disappoints me a little. I love using coconut oil to spot treat but I don't really like putting it all over my face, nor doing so semi regularly because I worry about it causing a breakout. This oil does feel great on but has a bit of a strange scent that I don't love. Again I just wish skincare companies would chill out on adding fragrance to skincare products.

    I like the thin consistency of this oil. It's not heavy and once absorbed, you can put foundation on if you wish or just leave it on for an overnight treatment.
