My friend used this on her combination skin. After the application, she said her face felt clean and smooth. Her experience was the scent was nice and not overpowering. When she applied it, her skin tingled slightly but it was tolerable. As she moved about she found that she definitely needed to be lying down for the mask to stay in place. She said that when she was lying down, she needed to push the nose flap back in order to breathe. The mask does not say it needs to be trimmed to your face but it is trimmable. Personally, I would not buy a mask for any price that did not fit my face. That seems like a dealbreaker for me. For a 4 pack of masks at a price point of $60.00 I think there are other products that I would prefer to use rather than pay that much. On a scale of 1 -5 she said this was okay to use but she would not use it again considering that she needed to be laying down and couldn't get anything accomplished. She tends to be a big multi-tasker though!!

I liked this mask. It was very refreshing and left my skin looking great! I will definitely enjoy using the remaining 3 gel masks that came in the package. The mask was very wet upon removal from the package, but I really didn't mind handling it. I had to fold the nose section up to keep from blocking my nostrils. I had a luxurious 20 minutes lying down and reading, before removing the mask. Recommended.

I opened up the face mask pacvk and tried to peel the mask from the protective film. The mask folded and then ripped. It bent over on itself and from that point on it wasn't pretty... I tried three of these before finally managing to get one on, but since I was standing up that didn't work either. Anyway, for me, a major fail. I finally laid on the floor and got the last one on. It was annoying for me just to have to lie there with a Gimp (Pulp Fiction) face mask on. I would not buy these--mostly for the fact that it was so hard to get it on. This product is probably better for a spa environment when you are in a chair and someone puts it on for you.

The reviewers who gave 2-stars are not kidding. These masks can be a mess to get on and keep on. Mine was uncooperative, but I got it on my face and, despite some slipping and sliding, it stayed there for the 20 minutes Erno Laszlo says it should be left on. It's a very wet mask. The second time I used it, I planned ahead and lay down for the duration. As far as results are concerned, my face looked wonderfully refreshed, my wrinkles were less noticeable, and my skin looked younger and plumper -- for a couple of hours. After that, it's still the same old skin. I will continue to use the other two masks, but will use them differently in the future. The only place I really need the plumping this provides is just under my eyes and on my cheeks. So, I'm going to use pieces of the mask on those parts of my face. It's just inconvenient and really unneeded to use it on my forehead, temples, nose, and chin. I didn't like this much because I really couldn't try it out long enough. The instructions say to take it out of the pouch and peel off the cover part and put it over your face, then leave it for 15-20 minutes. But it had so much of the "serum" on it that the cover fell off as I was taking it out of the pouch and it dripped all over everywhere. I draped it over my face and it kept trying to fall off. I left it about 5 minutes and lost the battle to keep it on. I patted the serum that was still on my face into my skin and it did make it feel soft, but I didn't really get to try the whole thing. I plan to try it again, in a day or two and see if I can keep it on longer, but I doubt it'll work unless, instead of just lying down, I also keep absolutely still, and probably not even then.
