Pleasant and it work alright.

Clarins' Total Eye Contour Gel comes in a tiny plastic squeeze tube with a screw-off cap. The gel is thick and rich with a smooth consistency and a light blue color. The consistency and feel remind me of aloe vera. It applies very nicely to my under eye area. It feels refreshing, absorbs readily, and leave my under eye area smooth, supple, and looking refreshed. I use it in the morning, as the last step of my moisturizing process. I have had no adverse reactions to it. All in all... a great eye cream.

Perks me up!

This is a great eye gel. The formula is a light blue thick gel. It goes on smooth and dries quickly, without leaving my skin feeling sticky or tacky. It is refreshing and slightly cooling. It helps brighten and tighten so I use it as part of my morning skincare routine. It doesn't have any particular scent to it, so it isn't irritating. A little goes a long way so it isn't bad for the price. I also really like Clarins' commitment to sustainability.

nice cooling effect

I have used and purchased numerous Clarins products and honestly I love them all! I specifically kept this cooling eye gel to use closer to the warm summer months because I knew my skin and face would start feeling warm, which is usually when I start breaking out. This is for around the eye area but that cooling sensation just somehow radiates to the rest of my face, cooling everything down. The caffeine in this helps reduces puffiness, which is a common thing seen in eye creams for this purpose. It didn't feel harsh, I didn't experience any tearing up which I sometimes do with eye creams because I have sensitive eyes. It was soothing yet moisturizing for the skin around my eyes. I like this cooling gel and if you want an extra burst of cooling, put this in the fridge! That's what I usually do during the height of summer heat in California... it feels amazing. This eye contour gel by Clarins has a cooling sensation when applied to my skin. It does feel refreshing to apply, although I'm not sure how much it reduces the puffiness or dark circles under my eyes. The gel can come out of the tube faster than I'm ready for, so I have to take some care when dispensing the product. Overall, I like this product; but I wouldn't consider it to be an essential in my skincare routine.
