Looks pretty, smells pretty!

How do you describe a perfume? It reminds me of the fragrance I would smell when I walked through a department store in a mall. It smells expensive if that makes any sense To describe it, I can only say that I can detect a very slight baby powder scent, but it is much more than that. Iris is supposed to be the predominant smell. All I know is Lancme La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu Eau De Parfum is powerful! It lasts all day long. When I spray my neck, just one squirt, I always try to get a tad on the top of my shirt. My husband could still smell it before I took my shower in the evening. Actually, I must have gotten some on my hair too, because the next morning while we were cuddling, he said he could still smell it! It is pricey, but you've got to take into consideration the size of the bottle, which is pretty big. It should last me a long time since I won't use more than one spray at a time. It comes in an attractive bottle and would make a very nice gift for the right person.

Item: Lancme La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu Eau De Parfum - Warm and Spicy Womens Perfume - With Notes of Iris, Jasmine & Fig - Long Lasting Fragrance This perfume comes packaged in a quality wrapping, box, and bottle that you would expect from Lancome and a perfume of this caliber. The bottle is very nice and a substantial amount that will last you a long time. I read reviews that this is a popular scent and a staple for some. Unfortunately, this fragrance was not for me. It wasn't bad, just not something that I personally would choose. Overall, its a beautifully packaged perfume, with an ample amount to last a long time, and a concentrated long lasting scent that lasts all day.

Modern and classy

This is a more elegant and refined version of the original La Vie Est Belle in my opinion. You have to love iris to love this fragrance though. I am all for the gourmand accord in the dry down mixed with dark fruits black currant and fig. I love fragrances with black currant note and i love gourmand fragrances in general so there is no reason for me to not love this one. This is an absolutely beautiful iris fragrance that is sweet, slightly green and powdery. The longevity is very good. I get about 8 hours on my skin and much longer on my clothes. This fragrance smells rich and expensive and modern. It kind of reminds me of lipstick and makeup. This may not be a love at first sniff for many but as it dries down it gets better and better. Definitely worth a try.
