This Mocenigo Rose fragrance is contained in a sophisticated glass, whose decoration is reminiscent of the petals of this mysterious and noble rose. The Mocenigo Rose, a rare and precious flower, is native to China. The name derives from an ancient Venetian family, owner of an historic residence in Alvisopoli. For the past 200 years, this residence has boasted an exquisite rose garden, the contents of which were originally imported from France by Lucia Mocenigo, due in no small part to her close friendship with Josephine Bonaparte, a noted lover of this kind of flower. The flower is characterised by a lightly tinted, silky-pink colour. It has a strong and fruity scent, a feminine fragrance in its most fascinating natural expression - that highlights the beauty of this rose. The bottle of Mocenigo Rose and its decoration elements evoke the elegant design of the Murano Collection. This feminine floral fragrance reveals the rose in its most alluring way. Already the top notes seduce with fresh lime of Sicily and tender essence of Mocenigo Rose, delicately brightened through blackcurrant leaves. The lush flower bouquet presented in the heart is led by luxurious rose absolute, highlighted by fresh spring magnolia and transparent lotus flower. Carefully embedded in the soft and sensual base notes the rose is treated as the majesty of this fragrance: comforting musk, white cedarwood and vanilla absolute are sprinkled with amber crystals to provide a base dedicated to the luminescence of the rose.
