I loved this scent from the moment I tried it

I loved this scent from the moment I tried it at an airport but as it's expensive, I went on to try it a couple of times more in my local store to be sure before splashing out. I read the reviews too and so many were critical or downright hostile, that I began to doubt my instant love affair with this scent. None the less I bought the 50ml bottle and haven't regretted it for a moment. It's addictive! Many contemporary scents are obvious and bold but Gabrielle is gentle, warm, sexy and subtle. It is a gentler fragrance than No 5 but it still has that femininity and complexity that you expect from a Chanel scent. It's white floral and no doubt the addition of tuberose has helped with this. I'm not a No 5 fan as it's too stong but do love others in the range - though this scent reminds me of more of a Dior perfume. I am not good at describing scents in detail but I do like to wear scent during the day if I feel like it and in the evenings. Gabrielle is perfect for both. If you are after something very wearable and that makes you feel instantly well dressed and special even in jeans and jumper, then give it a try. It'll give you a sparkle!
