Jimmy Choo Floral Eau de Toilette 60 ml

This Jimmy Choo scent has a sophisticated and expensive-smelling fragrance that's hard to ignore. Arguably the name Floral is appropriate - it smells a lot like the flower Lilly of the Valley - to my untrained nose - but a lot lighter weight, where lilly of the valley smells heavier and thick - relatively speaking. Coming in fairly straightforward and attractive packaging the bottle is shaped a bit like a glass grenade, but with a chrome-effect and white square bottle top and with a chrome effect band around the top of the bottle. The bottle is a bit narrow where it rests on your table-top which means it has a tendancy to topple over if you're clumsy like me. It's a mega-sturdy bottle though so it's not going to break in a hurry. The bottle has a pale sapphire-turquoise hue which looks nice. When you spray the scent it really hits you as a fresh awake smell, but as it settles down over subsequent hours, while retaining its freshness it turns into a slightly more traditional scent. So unless you're going to spray it on immediately before meeting someone your target audience is likely to have less of a shockingly awake experience with this scent. In summary, this is a new and modern smelling scent - to my nose at least - and it does have a sophisticated ambience that justifies its fairly high price.

I waited a while to review this, using it every day for over a month. The bottle is beautifully presented with a cube lid on a heavy glass, grenade-shaped bottle. The scent is fresh and citrusy. It reminds me of a cold glass of gin and tonic. It has a crisp, light, refreshing smell allowing me to spray it lavishly. My only criticism is that I would like it to have more longevity. It needs regular top ups.

I absolutely adore this perfume it's floral with a slight fruitiness and looks very elegant in style (from the very pretty box to the elegantly and contemporary shaped bottle) everything to love. Jimmy Choo has produced some really nice perfumes as well as shoes and bags over the years, many of which have become my favourites and this one is no exception. It has a lovely fresh floral scent that is not overpowering and which lingers on the skin pleasantly for a good few hours before fading to a slight fruity/musky scent. Jimmy Choo's Floral Eau de Toilette has become my new must have scent for the summer and best of all it comes in a decent sized 60ml spray bottle which lasts quite a while. Love it.

Both my wife and teenage daughter loved the scent.....the sweet floral perfume was a hit across the generations. Light enough to be used during the day but also suitable for special occasion evening outings. Only negative with regard to the scent was that it did not remain prominent for a working day...a reapplication was required. The packaging is attractive as is the bottle and both commented that they would be very happy to receive this as a gift. A qualified hit then....
