Great for difficult to comb hair

I have tried many high end hair products, and this is by far my favorite. It has a very strong hold, but at the same time adds a lot of volume that lasts all day.

A bit expensive but works well

At the recommendation of a men's hair stylist, I switched to this hair gunk. I'm quite pleased with its hold and it has an intriguing smell too. I used to use Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree shaping cream since it had good hold but I noticed that it would occasionally make my hair too firm. That hasn't been the case with the Clutch Play Hair Gunk - it has a nice firm hold even for slightly longer hair but it also leaves a nice shine that I like. This may not be good for people who have coarse hair. Pros: - Good strong hold for medium or slightly longer hair. - Adds a nice shine. - Pleasant smell, somewhat fruit-like but it doesn't linger all day. - Easy to wash off your hands. Cons: - A bit pricey for the size of the container. PM's Tea Tree had more and cost about the same. For me the change has been worth it, so no docking of stars for the price though I would welcome a lower price any time!

This is a great hair product for those looking for a hard hold and high shine. I have first discovered this brand after smelling and purchasing their Illicit fragrance, now it is my go to grooming brand for quality products with the top ingredients and packaging. This product is a "gunk" meaning a little goes a long way. One container lasted me months with moderate use.
